Last night episode of The Voice Nigeria was amazing ,packed with fire, drama and everything in between that had me screaming.

In case you missed last night’s episode of , we have all the highlights from the second round of battles for you.

From six performances, two steals, one indecisive judge, one smart judge and eight contestants who went through to the live show, here’s everything you missed:

Obichi and Zicsaloma

The Night kicked off with Obichi and Zicsaloma  from #teamwaje and they will be singing ‘Mr Romantic’ by Korede Bello.  The energy was great, but Waje picked Obichi.

Tama and Annie

Tama and Annie from #TeamPato do Battle and they will sing ‘Beneath your beautiful’ by Labrinth.

Both ladies made Emeli Sande and Labyrinth proud with their rendition of 2012 love track, Beneath Your Beautiful. It was a tough pick for Patoranking but he went with Annie C.

Majeeka and Wolei

Wole and Majeka from #TeamYemiAlade with ‘Toh Bad’ by Niyola.

We knew it was going to be a tough one as both are Good, Though the song cvhoice didnt go down well with Wole, but he killed it & performed beyond expectations

Yemi Alade went with Majeeka.

Someone must have saved the best for tonight.

First Steal

Timi Dakolo who with his heel on the buzzer gave us the first STEAL of the night. Both contestants made it to the lives. makes the first Steal of the night. Wolei also goes to the Lives

Blessed VS Bada

Blessed VS Bada gave a classic redition to Stevie Wonder classic ‘Signed, sealed delivered’ for their Battle.
Signed, sealed and delivered was Godwin Bada’s testimony as he breezed into the live show with effortless grace.

He was not only every coach’s choice, Timi Dakolo handed him a pass with the words “Ain’t nobody badder than Bada”.

Blesyn and Hightee

Blesyn and Hightee battled ‘No Air’ by Jordin Sparks putting friendship aside.

Blessing and Hightee may have stepped on a few toes with their subpar delivery of Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown’s powerful duet “No Air” but Hightee got her pass into the live show from Patoranking.

Hytee made it to the Lives.

  Glowrie and Wilson

Glowrie and Wilson ended the night by singing ‘Hurt you’ by Toni Braxton and Babyface.

it was an epic Battle, as a hard decision had to be made by Waje and she chose Glowrie to go through to the Lives.

They performed Toni Braxton and Babyface’s Hurt You and the words ‘outsing’ and ‘outshine’ had no place as both showed unmatchable strength and willpower to take them to the live show.

And yes, they made it. Coach Waje picked Glowrie but

Second Steal

When we thought all hope was lost and wilson was going home , Wilson got himself stolen by Yemi Alade.

Glowrie and Wilson couldn’t have wrapped up the show any better. A total of 6 talents went through to the live shows along with two steals. Timi stole Wolei after losing out in his battle with Majeeka and Yemi Alade stole Wilson after Waje picked Glowrie for the live shows.
