Jude Abaga caught the music flu when he was young at a very tender age to the extent that even his mother purchased basic music notations and later, a 7-key mini piano .

Also both parents were active members of the local Church choir in Jos, Plateau, Nigeria. That was When M.I was Born  , meaning The Mr. Incredible ‘M.I’

As M.I’s grew up  he would  always listen to tracks from Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Sarah Machlaclan, Pablo Neruda, Jay-Z and DMX. No wonder his style of music.
MI Fell in love with hip hop world as early as 1998 and then started with the sampling of musical works from DMX and Lauryn Hill .
In 1999, During his college years at Calvin College, Michigan, USA, he delved into poetry while pursuing a career in Business and Economics. He initially started off with Engineering at Calvin College but later switched to Business Management. He was known to perform regularly at the school’s major hip hop shows and concerts.
Sadly M.I was unable to complete his education due to some issues so he returned back . But he plans on doing so soon.
You bet his rap flows and attitude was more than impressive and it yielded him third place at the college show ‘HipHopera’ in 2003, which was actually the only “hip hop show” that Calvin College ever had.
Rap is poetry. Sometimes the song starts with words, sometimes it starts with music but rap is really poetry. For me at the beginning, poetry compelled me—–M.I

Do you know that M.I tried to be a comedian *lol* well thank God he did int pursue that  else there might not have been Messiah of Rap —M.I
Let me share with you one of M.I’s escapades of tyring out comedy

Actually one day, I did standup comedy a long time ago. Somebody told me to hire a comedian for him and I said, “What is there? I can do it myself”. So I went and tried to tell some jokes. I started well and I ended up with malaria, full blown malaria. The people did not laugh at all.

.But his amateur attempts were just basic trials so he stuck to his first love —music.
